Please review our salon policies prior to your appointment with us. By booking an appointment with BeautyAngel you are confirming that you have read, and accept our policies.
APPOINTMENTS
Cancellation Policy
Beautyangel requires at least 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment or your deposit will be forfeited to beautyangel for time lost.
No Show Policy
Clients who fail to show for an appointment will forfeit their deposit & will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit of their service charge, at time of next booking.
Late Policy
If you are running late to an appointment we ask that you call/text us to let us know, otherwise we will assume this as a NO SHOW and may release the appointment.
If you are LESS than 15 minutes late we will try our best to perform the treatment, ONLY if possible in the time allotted. You will still be charged full price.
If you are MORE than 15 minutes late we will try our best to accommodate you, But reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if we are unable to complete the service to our highest standards within the time frame available.
Please keep in mind we will always do our best to try accommodate your session, within our means.

Out of hours appointments are subject to availability and will incur a $20 surcharge.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit is required when booking your appointment.
This holds your appointment in good faith & will be credited back into your service cost.
In the case of a broken Cancellation/No Show & Late policy, your deposit is forfeited to beautyangel - (unless in exceptional circumstances & at owner discretion).
PRE APPOINTMENT CONSULTATION
Before your first treatment you will complete a verbal consultation with us.
It’s vital we know about any medication or allergies you may have, please use this time to advise us of any concerns. Notify us of any changes prior to each appointment, so we can update your consultation form accordingly.
Aftercare advice is given at the end of your treatment. It is your responsibility to adhere to this advice, if you disregard this information it is at your own risk. Treatments for clients under the age of 16 require parental consent.
IMPORTANT
Eyelash Extensions
Please thoroughly remove all eye makeup BEFORE coming to your lash session.
Eyes must be clean and oil free upon arrival otherwise we will charge a $10 makeup removal fee.
If not pre-booked separately the time spent thoroughly removing your makeup will be deducted from valuable application time.
We are unable to properly adhere semi-permanent lash extensions on lashes that have makeup/residue buildup and in more serious cases, it can lead to irritation and infection.
Arriving to your appointment with makeup residue on the lashes will take away valuable application time. Arriving with dirty lashes will also affect your retention.
We only fill other technicians work if we are made aware of the previous extensions prior to your appointment. If the previous work is not up to our standard, you will require a removal and a new set - this is fully chargeable to the client.
If you have any existing lash extensions when booking a new set, please schedule a removal add on also.
Please note that any reactions to eyelash extensions are not foreseeable by BeautyAngel skilled and trained staff. Unfortunately, while allergic reactions are very rare, there is always a risk. Whilst care is taken, no refunds will be issued for reactions. beautyangel will offer a free removal if any reactions occur.
Please contact the salon immediately if you become aware of an allergic reaction so we can assist you as quickly as possible in the removal of the lash extensions.
Eyelash Lift
Please thoroughly remove ALL eye makeup BEFORE your appointment.
Brow & Lash Tint
Please thoroughly remove ALL eye & brow makeup BEFORE your appointment, for better, longer lasting results.
*A $10 makeup removal charge will be added, if makup is NOT sufficiently removed before these treatments.
Spraytan
Please ensure you have NO products on your skin this includes skincare products, deodorant & perfume.
You are welcome to wear what you feel comfortable in, whether that be a swimsuit, singlet & shorts or nothing.
We suggest your item's are black - we do have disposable g strings available. You will need loose fitting clothes for after, so they don't rub your new tan off - preferably dark colours, as the tan may stain your clothing.
PATCH TEST
Eyelash extensions
If you have never worn eyelash extensions before, we highly recommend you have a patch test.
We will add 5 lashes per eye to see how your eyes react over 48 hours, this is usually booked to take place 48 hours prior to your lash appointment.
Brow & Lash Tinting
If this is your first tinting procedure with us, OR your last tint was 6+ month's prior - you will NEED to perform a tint patch test.
We will apply a small amount of tint to your inner elbow - this process takes less than 5 minutes.
The tint will develop over a 24 hour period.
If you should develop any redness, itching or reactions, wash the area with cold water & avoid using any perfumed or makeup products on the area until the reaction has disappeared.
In the rare case that the reaction is severe or starts to spread - SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION ASAP.
Unfortunately, if you do experience any kind of reaction from the tint, we cannot carry out the tinting treatment. It’s very important that you inform us that you have had an allergic reaction, as your safety is even more important to us than beautiful brows!
INFILL POLICY
Eyelash Extensions
To qualify for an infill there must be at least 40% of the lash extension remaining AFTER all of the grown out extensions have been removed.
If you have less than 40% of the extensions remaining then a full set must be booked.
Infills are recommended every 2-3 weeks. We do not infill after 21 days. Even if you have excellent lash retention, you still require maintenance every few weeks to keep your natural eyelashes happy and healthy.
CHILDREN POLICY
No children in Salon, Unless approved by us PRIOR to your appointment.
Please NOTE that beautyangel has no separate waiting room, as treatments are by BOOKING ONLY.
Requests to bring children along to lengthy appointments will likely be declined.
This includes NO GUESTS/FRIENDS unless approved by Beautyangel PRIOR to your appointment.
REFUND POLICY
All Treatments
are an investment of time, money, and care on our client and staff’s behalf.
beautyangel will make every effort to satisfy a client’s expectations and troubleshoot after care dilemmas diligently.
We are unable to offer refunds on any services we have already executed.
If you are unhappy with a service please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment.
All retail product purchases are final sale.
Deposits are non refundable.
If 48 hours notice is given, the appointment may be rescheduled, or cancelled.
Less than 48 hours and the deposit is lost..
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift Vouchers are available to purchase from $10 - $500. Gift vouchers are non refundable and non transferable.
And cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Gift vouchers can be used to purchase: service/s or product/s in salon & online @ beautyangelNZ
beautyangel Gift vouchers expire 24 months after date of purchase.
